Frequently asked questions

There is no charge to participants, we do not charge for the service. If you wish to make a donation that would be very much appreciated but this is entirely up to you.

We are based in Whangarei but provide trips for people across Northland and Auckland.

No need to bring a thing — we’ve got you covered! All fishing equipment and bait are provided for the day. We’ll have the right gear ready for the fish we’re targeting, so all you need to do is turn up, relax, and enjoy the adventure.

Your safety comes first. If weather conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll reschedule your trip for another day. We aim to give you as much notice as possible, but the final decision always rests with the skipper to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Absolutely. Access to Adventure follows strict safety protocols and fully complies with all Maritime New Zealand regulations. Our experienced, qualified skippers and crew are trained to the highest standards, with safety always our top priority.
